Work Location: In Person Long Island City, NY; Full-Time Position
Join a forward-thinking, craftsmanship-driven millwork company dedicated to excellence in design, fabrication, and installation. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Draftsman who brings both technical experience and strong communication skills to our growing team.
What You’ll Do:
- Starting you will help support our Production Team by creating Cut Lists
- Create accurate shop drawings and production documents using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microvellum, and SketchUp
- Collaborate closely with our production teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Interpret architectural drawings and specs with precision and clarity
- Maintain organized documentation with the use of spreadsheets and company systems
- Material calculations
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microvellum, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Education requirement minimum associate’s degree and/or certification(s)
- Understanding of millwork design and construction practices
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects
- Team player with attention to detail
Schedule:
• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
